What is 5th Wall?
In 1999, 5th Wall began as a Theater Company. It was formed by an idealistic, grassroots company of entertainment professionals who believed in the power of art to transform lives.

As the term "4th Wall" signifies the presence of an imaginary wall between performers and audience, "5th Wall" expresses the absence of boundaries.

As we grew, our vision took shape. Our mission became threefold:

• to give voice and vehicle to new and innovative theatrical work,
• to benefit the community in the expression of innovative work,
• to encourage excellence, passion, and the belief in one's own creative power through professional classes with top-level, visionary, instructors.

Our goals:

• To explore and expand creative boundaries
• To challenge walls between communities
• To challenge artistic standards
• To encourage the expectation of high standards through innovative instruction,
  for it is in encouraging excellence, passion, and the
  belief in one's own creative power that art
