The Young Filmmakers Workshop
Scholarship Program
In treating students with respect and giving value to their innovations and ideas the floodgates to imagination are opened wide. Self-respect and confidence grow as young people find their voice, and an avenue for positive expression of their feelings. Engagement in the arts can be therapeutic, absorbing, inspiring and empowering. Even more, art has the power to transform lives.
We aspire to make the Young Filmmakers Workshop available to all young people drawn to artistic expression and especially to the art of making films without respect to race, creed, or economic background.
The Howard Rollins Scholarship Award
In addition to offering full and partial need-based merit scholarships one student will be chosen each year for this special award
